Trying contact lenses
Not sure lenses are for you? Our contact lens trial has a one-off fee which includes your trial lenses, a professional fitting and a follow-up check — so you can try real life with lenses before committing to a supply.
Ongoing supply made easy
Most of our contact lens patients join our monthly direct debit scheme: your lenses are supplied regularly, and your contact lens aftercare is looked after — one simple payment, nothing to remember.
Contact lenses for children & teenagers
Children and teenagers can wear contact lenses very successfully. If your child is short-sighted, ask us about myopia management in Walsall — including the Essilor Stellest lens, clinically shown to slow myopia progression in children.
Contact lens FAQs
Can I try contact lenses before committing in Walsall?
Yes. At Pleck Eyecare Centre we charge a one-off trial fee which includes your trial lenses — you can experience life with contact lenses before deciding on an ongoing supply.
How much do contact lenses cost?
It depends on the lens type and how often you wear them. Most of our patients join our monthly direct debit scheme, which spreads the cost and includes their ongoing lens supply and aftercare. We’ll give you exact prices at your fitting.
Can I wear contact lenses if I have astigmatism?
Yes — toric contact lenses are designed specifically for astigmatism, and we fit them routinely at Pleck Eyecare Centre.
Can children wear contact lenses?
Yes, many children wear contact lenses successfully. For short-sighted children we may also recommend myopia management to slow their prescription change — see our myopia management page.
Do I still need an eye test if I wear contact lenses?
Yes. Contact lens wearers need both a regular eye examination and separate contact lens check-ups (aftercare) to keep their eyes healthy and their lenses comfortable.
